Jenni Robin levelling up for clients
After almost two years of study, documentation, interviews and examination, I’m excited to announce that I have obtained the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) certification to produce interior design drawings for permits.
From now delivering a combination of residential AND commercial projects. As a fully qualified interior designer, I will continue producing within the existing interior environment, for extensions or new builds, I will be liaising directly with client’s engaged architect or building designer, plus a structural engineer if required. For clients this is an opportunity to significantly streamlines the design process. Since 2020 my business has predominately focused on residential projects, this new accreditation allows additional opportunities for business owners. In a previous role, I executed large scaled commercial spaces up to 15,000 square meters as a Senior Interior Designed and Commercial Lead managing a team.
The rise of the ‘Work From Home’ movement has significantly heightened the demand for tailored workspace solutions that reflect individual working styles. Building upon my commercial design portfolio, I had the opportunity to contribute to projects for Hatched Media in Windsor and the development of a nationally distributed style guide for Gainsborough in collaboration with Hive Creative. These experiences were both creatively fulfilling and strategically aligned with my broader vision. As I continue to expand this arm of my business, I’m passionate about partnering with clients who value thoughtful, functional design, transforming their office environments into spaces that inspire productivity and personal expression.
Securing my VBA license was a milestone that reflects both dedication and depth of experience. With over 15 years in the design industry, I successfully demonstrated proficiency across a broad spectrum of competencies including; detailed documentation drawings, core design principles, compliance with NCC building codes and Australian Standards (AS), as well as project and contract management. This achievement not only validates my technical capabilities but also reinforces my commitment to delivering high quality, regulation compliant design solutions.
There are also many industry supporters and technical referees I’m deeply thankful for.

Finally, thank you to my husband for always believing and supporting the journey, even when I had doubts. This accreditation is not just for my clients, but our small family. To be a strong and empowered female business owner for Harpa and Hilde gives me great joy.
Your Vision Crafted.
