FAQs

What services do you offer as an interior designer?

Full service interior design, inclusive of space planning, material, fixtures and fittings specification, furniture and decor procurement for renovations, extensions and new builds. Whether you're refreshing a single room or redesigning your entire home, I tailor each project to suit your lifestyle and taste.

I do not currently provide styling for home sales.

Do you work on residential or commercial projects?

I specialise in residential interiors, from apartments to multi generational living, however I also take on boutique commercial spaces such as cafes, offices, and retail stores. With my registration from the Victorian Building Authority (Building Designer (Interior)) my documentation drawings can be submitted to council or building surveyors for approvals.

How does the design process work?

Starting with a discovery call or consultation to understand your needs, I then work through my seven step process, developing a concept, presenting mood boards, finishes and design documentation, and refine the concept with your feedback prior to sending all information to tender.

How much does interior design cost?

For renovations, extensions and new homes or commercial spaces pricing depends on the scope of work required as it is based on the complexity of design solutions desired.

If you are after a kick start for your project, I suggest booking a two hour consultation to clarify your ideas and obtain a plan for the next steps.

How long does a typical project take?

Timelines vary based on complexity and what type of project it is, for example a residential renovation or new build can take up to three years from briefing meeting to handover due to the paperwork and approvals required, whereas commercial projects are typically quick and not unusual to be completed within 6 months.

Do you help with furniture and decor procurement?

Yes, I source from the best international and local craftspeople and showrooms, accessing trade only pricing. I also offer styling services to finish your space with furniture, art, lighting, and accessories. I love using your old heirloom pieces to give a personal touch to your space, which I would document in an existing furniture schedule with dimensions and other relevant details.
